Our commitment to the planet, and to the people building Nigeria's future.
Tree planting
For every hosting plan bought from Ruachost, we plant a tree in Nigeria. It is our way of giving something back to the planet that the internet depends on.
The trees are planted by our partners. Each new plan adds one tree, automatically.
Tree planting sits alongside the rest of our planet-minded promise: renewable energy, efficient data centres and a business that balances profit with purpose.
A growing tree takes in carbon dioxide and gives back oxygen, year after year, for as long as it stands.
Every website lives on servers that use energy. We run ours on renewable power, and planting trees lets us go a step further.
Every tree goes into the ground here in Nigeria, adding shade, cleaner air and greener land to the places we call home.
Free hosting
Charities and students should be able to get online without worrying about the cost. So we host them for free.
Free charity hosting
Charities do vital work on tight budgets, and every naira spent on a website is a naira that does not reach the cause.
So if you run a Nigerian-registered charity, we host your website for free on our Sprout plan, with the same performance and support our paying customers get.
Free student hosting
Students learn best by building. A real website is where a class project becomes a portfolio, and an idea becomes a startup.
We give students in Nigeria free hosting so they can put their work online and learn real web skills while they study.
Help save the planet, one site at a time.
Start with a domain. Add a hosting plan and we plant a tree for you.
